🎽 We first asked about Temu in a Zeitgeist at the end of last year (October 2023 to be exact). With this month’s data, we’re able to see its growth since then, which is pretty strong – the number who have used it at some point has increased 56%* in that time.
📵 A tech and health detox might be on the table for 2025. Compared to last year*, the fastest-growing New Year’s Resolutions are spending less time on social media (+22%), reading more (+10%), and drinking less alcohol (+9%). Also among the fastest rising was volunteering (+22%).
🥩 The grill dad is a classic trope, and it’s a classic one for a reason. Fathers in the UK and US are 40% more likely than the average consumer to grill/BBQ once a month.
🙍 37% of Gen Z say they’ve experienced feelings of loneliness regularly or often in the past 12 months. Standout reasons for this include being single, societal expectations of lifestyle, and pressure from social media.
