Serbians Show Moderate Travel Habits, Both Abroad and Domestically
With Serbia being a new addition to our Q3 2024 wave, our data has revealed several trends regarding their travel behaviours. Serbians generally aren’t frequent travellers to foreign countries, with most reporting they have taken at least 1-2 holidays abroad in the past year. Interestingly, they are 44% more likely to have taken a foreign vacation in the last 12 months compared to the average internet user in Europe. However, a notable portion of Serbians also claim they haven’t taken any foreign vacations, indicating a mixed relationship with international travel.
A similar pattern emerges in their domestic travel habits. Serbians are most likely to report taking 1-2 trips within their own country, although they are nearly 3% less likely to do so compared to the average European internet user. Additionally, many Serbians also indicate they have not traveled domestically in the past year. Overall, this suggests that while a portion of the population is moderately engaged in both foreign and domestic travel, a significant number remain less travel-oriented, whether abroad or within Serbia.
