Update to Attribute Warnings ⛔️
We've hidden some of the attribute warnings for certain questions in the platform. This update will reduce the amount of warnings shown within the platform, and avoid confusion. For example, you'll no longer see a warning when the attribute "lives in Canada" was not asked in the USA. Or that “Q2 2009” was not asked in a Q3 2009 wave, like in the image below:
This update applies to charts, crosstabs, and the attribute browser.
Improvement to Audience Creation 👥
When you're creating a new audience whilst in a folder, that audience will now autosave to the folder you’re in. This helps you to keep track of your audiences, and makes organizing your setup easier too!
Charts Update 📊
We've made the following changes to charts to improve your experience in this area of the platform:
- Top level dataset folders are now available in question charts, to improve the overall browsing experience of surveys. For example, all Zeitgeist datasets are now organized within the GWI Zeitgeist folder, instead of individually listed. This will speed up your time when trying to find the data that matters to you.
- Chart segments now reflect the selected wave or location filters you have determined, all in the essence of making your experience a little easier.
New Keyboard Shortcut 💻
You can now use the shift key in the charts attribute browser to hold and multi select a group of attributes. This will speed up your workflow and provide a more seamless experience in the GWI platform.
Dashboard Improvements 🚀
Empty dashboards will no longer be autosaved in the platform. In order for a dashboard to be saved, you must action something in the dashboard for example, change a filter, add an audience, or add a widget. This will help keep your account tidy, and prevent empty dashboards from building up on management pages.
In addition, there is a new scroll state in view mode in dashboards. This will help you so that you don’t lose track of your audience as you scroll down your dashboard.
Text Widget Update 📝
Text widgets in dashboards have been redesigned. You’ll now have more flexibility with formatting, to help you create compelling narratives on your dashboards.
Crosstabs Update 👉
The new crosstabs management page is live! We’ve said goodbye to grid view, and welcomed new tabs including ‘My Crosstabs’ and ‘Shared’, as well as new sorting options. This update will help you filter through your crosstabs, so that you can find the ones you need more quickly.
You can also now highlight and copy cells and text in crosstabs, making it easier for you to quickly copy snippets of data and insights.
Bug Fixes🐛
We've improved the following bug in the platform:
- The ordering of attributes and questions now mirrors the order defined by our surveys. This means that the order that the platform data is in now reflects how the surveys are answered by real people, in the real world.
