We like it when people talk about our data. In fact, anyone is welcome to cite content or data from our published assets in the public domain - that includes anything that's downloadable from our website. We just ask for it to be credited to "GWI" and for the below information to be included, preferably alongside a link to our website.
If you wish to cite data that's not in the public domain, such as reports or data that can only be accessed by logging into our platform, please contact your account manager first. Generally, we're very likely to accept such requests if it's about a your own brand. If you want to cite data that refers to other brands, we need to understand more about the context of the request. We'll be more cautious if you wish to release data that would criticise or have a negative impact on another organisation; our preference is that our data supports constructive and positive stories.
Format
If the data is from one of our reports, you can replicate the sourcing used in the report. If the data is taken directly from our platform, it should be referenced as "GWI" followed by the data set, wave(s) in question and, if relevant, any countries and base audiences applied. You should also state what universe is being represented (e.g. internet users aged 16-64).
